there is a plugin for photoshop called Noise Ninja.
http://www.picturecode.com/
it definitely ROCKS for degraining while still keeping a good amount
of fine detail.  i used it on a commercial to degrain greenscreen
plates for compositing
it's cheap and works like a champ
