Strangely enough, there haven't been too many (any?) posts from folks that have seen Seabiscuit (I haven't) that could perhaps add some more subjective criticism of what Hafner originally brought up. Who else saw "artifacts" in that film??

The only DI work-flow film I've seen lately was Pirates, and I thought it looked great. No "artifacts" bothered my viewing experience. However, I was surprised to find out that it was all scanned on a Spirit which has me wondering when and if we'll really need anything more than 2K (even more than 1/2 chroma 2k)... especially for the small-screen (home tv).

So, instead of all this philosophizing, can anyone else comment on the Seabiscuit prints from the DI workflow.

IMHO, as far as the anonymous post, it is probably better if all posts are signed and backed-up.

But, as far as I'm concerned, Rob can do whatever he wants.
