day for night

Hi all,

A client of mine is going to shoot day for night in the mountains
with snow. does anybody have some advice for me/him on how to shoot
and transfer this stuff. ( for example overexpose fore ground
objects/persons ). So what stock and filters and davinci tricks are there to
help me help my client out of this one...
Many thanks in advance.
