You heard about 1080i and 720p. Join us for a discussion on the latest
plans for the transition to high definition. Panasonic and Sony will
talk about their latest HD tape formats for telecine and
post-production.

The meeting will be followed by a panel discussion and a tour of
Colossalvision.

working versions of the SMPTE Ad-Hoc Group on Post Production in 24
Frame Progressive Format.  You will see equipment at NAB this year.
This will be the most dramatic change in Post Production in many years.
Download these documents for background and details that will be
discussed at this Wednesday's meeting.  Dave Wiswell has attended a
number of  the ad-hoc meetings and will briefly explain the background
of the three documents.
