Can broadcast television compare to the theatrical experience?
Digital broadcast begins for real November 1, 1998. Join us
tonight for an opportunity to compare a 35mm release print to a
broadcast of the same material in HD, compressed for broadcast
           over a 6MHz channel.

Following the comparison will be a presentation on the design
considerations for an HD telecine for electronic cinema
applications. The tour will conclude with attendees viewing HD
telecines in action, and the opportunity to ask questions of
           one of the colorists.

SPEAKERS: Dr. Robert Hopkins, John Galt

DINNER: Due to the staggered start times, there will not be an arranged
dinner prior to the event. Light refreshments will be provided
           in the lobby area.

RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THIS EVENT.
