That's just as well, as the use of the built-in pluge in color bars will
yield inadequate results, if monitor brightness is set by it.
#1 It's in the region where most CRT's will exhibit some fall-off
#2 The APL of Bars is too unrepresentative of what typical program APL's
will be.
#This brings up the wider issue of whether you want ANY (High contrast) menu
on-screen when making this adjustment!

The use of a larger area pluge, with more realistic gray scale is highly
recommended.
